{The Day After}

What a wonderful Christmas! You know, it came really fast and didn't stay around long enough. I love Christmas! We were hoping for snow, but we didn't get any. The weatherman in our area said there was a possibility of snow flurries on Christmas Day, but as usual, the weatherman was wrong.
I went to bed at 4:30 yesterday morning and woke up at 1:50 p.m. Ok here it is another day, it's 5:52 a.m. and I still haven't made it to bed yet. I think that I have my days and nights mixed up....big time!
I did scrap a page today. I have so many photos from Christmas and I want to scrap. I've gotten out of scrapping and more into designing. I really miss scrapping so will spend a few days reading up on my Aperture software and doing layouts. Here's the one I completed today.

Sometime this week, we want to take DD to the movies. She wants to see Eragon. She's suppose to go to the movies today with a friend, and then later in the week we'll take her. I'm not sure what I want to see. Maybe that comedy with Robin Williams trapped in the museum. I don't know yet.

Well got some reading to do with Photoshop, so will cut this post pretty short. Hope everyone has a great hump day! Toodles!!!

This has been the best Christmas ever! Lots of warm feelings this Christmas. The presents have been fantastic and the joy and love from my family has been awesome.
We went to my Moms last night for Christmas Eve and had the best time. Lots of laughing and great food. It will defintely be a Christmas to remember!
Now I just have to learn how to use my camera! Love it!!!

Took lots of photos and will get them ready and share them next week.

{Merry Christmas Eve}

It's Christmas Eve! This month has flew by so fast. I can't believe that it is really Christmas Eve!
We went to see my Dad yesterday. This is the second time this year that I have seen him. He looks good and the visit went well. This time last year, our world fell apart with my Dad. Thankfully this Christmas looks much more promising for the spirit. Well I have to say, we caved in with DD. She begged to open her presents early....very early! We let her open them up on Wednesday night. I know, 5 days before Christmas, but what the hey, she's 16 and already knows the truth about Santa Claus. So we opened our Christmas early, and I have to say, that I won't be letting that happen again. The anticipation and the thrill of the wait just isn't there now. So, next year...without a doubt, we will be waiting until Christmas morning!!!!! Tonight we go celebrate Christmas with my Mom!!!! That's been a tradition for a long time for us. We always go to Moms on Christmas Eve!!! She's fixing ham and we'll have finger food and yummy goodies and celebrate! I always look forward to this time with her every year. Almost like when you were a kid. It brings back those memories!!! I hope that everyone is ready for this magical night. The night when Santa comes. Oh I wish DD was much younger. That was such a thrill watching all the wonder and delight in her eyes from this magical time of year! What precious moments! Just wanted to say Merry Christmas Eve to everyone out there!!!

{Merry Christmas}

Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! I've been busy this week buying out the stores, wrapping presents, baking cookies, and watching Christmas shows. It's been nice spending time with my family!!! DD is on Christmas Vacation and we've had the time already.
Hope all of you have a wonderful time with your family and friends and loved ones. You stay safe and that this time is memorable! Can't wait to see all the layouts about the Holidays!

{Shopping Monday}

Today my Mom and I went shopping....all day! We had a blast and bought very little but did a lot of looking for bargains. On her Christmas list was a housecoat, but my Mom is impatient and wanted to get one. Luckily, I had been looking at housecoats for her for the past week, but hadn't found one that I thought she would like. Well Mom goes into Dillards and buys herself a housecoat. Ok check that off, can't get that for her. I already have presents for her, but wanted to get one more thing on her Christmas List. So, she was looking at some Born shoes at Dillards and found a pair that she loved. Guess what, she knows what her last Christmas present from me is, because I bought them right there, with her there too!!!! But, I got to bring them home and will wrap them tomorrow and she will have to wait until Christmas! Sorry Mom, one more week and your feet will get some comfort and joy!
Oh, we also went to Cracker Barrel for lunch. I just love their breakfast food! Yum.
When Mom took me back home, DD and DH wanted to go and finish up the rest of the Christmas that we still needed to do. DH went and got most of it today, but there was still a few things that we needed to complete this season of Holiday Shopping! It's official....WE ARE DONE! (Just wish all the wrapping was done!) hehehe That's tomorrow's project, plus laundry and straightening up. I'll also need to get my recipes out to see what ingredients I will need at the store. DD and I are making our Christmas goodies this week. I'd love to do something different this year. It seems that every year we make the same ole thing. I think one year we varied the menu and really enjoyed it. Well, I'm not much on sweets, but the family enjoyed them. I think DD favorite is thumb print cookies. They are real buttery and they have jam on top of them. Real yummy too!!!
I'm totally exhausted and will need to call it a night. Actually I guess I should say morning. It's 12:39 a.m. here. Hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday!

{I think I'm Coming Down With The Flu}

Oh I think that it's well on its way. Fever, chills, nausea. Oh my god, it's blah! I was suppose to go shopping with my Mom today, but I wasn't feeling well and she stayed up until 4:00 a.m. playing games on her computer. We are going to go next week. I can't wait. It's just going to be me and her. We haven't done that for a looooonnnnngggg time! DH is fixing supper tonight. How lucky am I?! Pretty darn lucky if you ask me! I think that I am going to relax tonight, on the couch, in front of the TV! Oh sounds so good. Hopefully there's some Christmas shows on. I love watching Christmas shows, but haven't gotten to watch a whole lot of them yet. I did buy the colorized version of It's A Wonderful Life and really want to watch it. Guess I could do that if there's nothing else on. I have to feel better by tomorrow. DH and I have to try to finish DD Christmas, at least the part she doesn't know about before she gets off of school. Her last day is the 19th. Then we'll take her out shopping again to finish up the clothes end of the presents. What else is going on...hum....oh one of our Cheery-O's at Oscraps is featured in Heather Ann's Newsletter ! {Very Productive Today}

Oh it's felt so good to get out from in front of the computer for awhile. Usually I am in front of it all the time. Today, I visited with my husband, wrapped a ton of presents, and scrapped one layout! (And Updating my blog for the second day in a row)! DH went and got a pizza from a new place up the road. Not very good...won't be going there again. I'd rather have Sky Hi Pizza or Pickleman's pizza. It's so yummy!!! But, had to settle for this tonight.
Oh I want to share my layout with you. It's of my DD, as usual. But what I tried to do this time is use more elements and papers from the Designers over at Oscraps. A great group of talented ladies and I wanted to do something special. So here it is!

{Tuesday}

I think I am coming down with something. I feel like crap - o - la!

We went shopping yesterday. We just put a little dent in it. We still have more to do. But I wore jeans and they were pushing on my hernia and it was killing me. I had to take a muscle relaxer last night. I guess it pushed on my nerve or something, because my right leg was giving me fits last night. Needless to say, I am not all with it today. Thank goodness we are staying at home today! I don't think I could stand to venture out! I think after I post this and do my advertising on P4D, I am going to curl up on the couch and conk out again. I am really not with it! Can you believe that there's only 12 days until Christmas! Where has the time gone?!
