{What a beautiful Day}

I had yesterday! I had a lot of fun hanging out with my family! My Mom and her friend Dora came by yesterday morning and visited for about an hour. Then, we did quite a bit of shopping and had a great dinner at Macaroni Grill. Then we rented some movies and went home and stayed up way too late watching them! We still have two more to watch tonight.
Last night we watched: Eragon, US vs. John Lennon and Last Holiday.
Tonight we'll watch: Marie Antoinette and The Holiday.
Tomorrow we will be busy again. Have tons of things that we need to get done this week.
Thanks to everyone who wished my a Happy Birthday!!!! I really enjoyed the wishes. Barbara at Oscraps even made me this card! Thank you Barbara - what a treat!!!! You are such a dear friend!!!!

I want to "Thank" Nina at Oscraps for posting on her blog about my Birthday yesterday! She's such a sweetie! She's been ill lately, but I read on her blog
that's she'll be returning to work soon. Have fun Nina today with your honey too!!!
I made another paper pack! I was watching Grey's Anatomy on Sunday night on Lifetime and made these papers. They go so well with my Altered Cardboard Papers.

{Saturday}

Wow what an awesome sale we had over at Oscraps! Most of us still have our product on sale! I'll change mine Sunday night to reflect my Birthday Sale! There's going to be an awesome amount off for all of you who are thinking of getting some of your wish list items bought! Monday and Tuesday will be a kicker percentage off! Check back!

I feel really tired today. I woke up with tremendous pressure in my head. Yep, its Spring and yep those allergies are starting to kick in!

We are lounging around today. Not much going on for our first day of Spring Break. Taylor and George slept until after 1:30 this afternoon. Not me, I had to get up because I couldn't breath right with this head stopped up!

Lots planned for the week to come. Hopefully, we'll get some rest and relaxation in too. But a lot of running to do too.

The Birthday bash over at Oscraps has been fun. I've really enjoyed SaraAmarie's birthday bash games. It was so funny last night. I laughed my behind off.

I got the coolest compliement from one of my favorite Designers this morning! Trish Jones. I love her designs and I think she is about the coolest person! I love her down to earthness and she is a very caring person. Thank you Trish!!! The compliment meant so much to me, especially coming from you!

Well that's it for today folks. I thought I'd drop in and say Thank you to all that visited Oscraps during our sale and thank you to all who made a purchase with my designs! Now, I can't wait to see those creative layouts! You all rock!!!!

{Finally Friday}

This week has flown by. I can't believe that it's Friday already, but I am awful glad that it is!!!
S[romg Break starts as soon as DD gets off from school. Next week is jammed pack with things that we want to do. I will be in and out next week. I am not even sure if I will add anything to the store. Who knows. Depends on how busy we are on whether I have time to finish up some items I've been working on.
I've had this gorgeous paper pack finished for about 3 weeks now and I have been working off and on with the elements and they just aren't clicking with me.
Monday is my birthday! I can't believe that I will be 43. I tell you here recently I feel that age too, maybe even older.

In other news, the weather has turned a bit chilly for the last day of Winter. Tomorrow is the first official day of SPRING! It is suppose to warm up in my neck of the woods!

Next week is a big week for me....on Monday, I celebrate another Birthday and it's Spring Break here, so DD will be off from school....Yay!!!!!

Ok, I have to admit I have been slacking on my blogging duties. I need more time in the day to get everything done! Have you ever been there? I swear I don't get enough sleep, and work way too hard and still can't get everything done. I will try harder to post more often here!
There's so much that's been going on. I am in knee deep in designing. I have so many ideas running through my head, I dream about them and wake up everyday with new ideas in my head. I have to say I am 100% addicted to digital scrapbooking! lol!!! I have quite a few works in progress that I just haven't finished up yet.

Let's see what else has been happening. Oh yal, I celebrated on March 9th being a digital scrapbook designer for one year! Yay me!!! I've learned so much in that year, and believe me I have soooo much more to learn!!!! I love creating though. It's been a blessing!!!

Oh yes, I finally got my house all cleaned up! (Well except for the oven and that project is going to happen in the morning)! It looks a lot better. It was getting kind of cluttered, especially in my office! lol

I also got a couple of layouts finished. I have been missing doing layouts so took some time this last weekend and got two finished up. Here they are!

My mom came to visit with me on Tuesday! It was so wonderful to see her!!!! I haven't seen her since Christmas and I was really missing her. She looked gorgeous! Love you MOM!!!!!

DD has been sick for the past couple of days. She came home Wednesday night with a sore throat and it looks like there's white bumps on her throat. So we called the doctor and she has an appointment first thing in the morning. I've been up with her the last couple of nights with her running a fever. It scares me to death when she gets sick. A couple of years ago, she got sick and we kept taking her to the doctor and they kept telling us that she had the flu, to let it run its course. We even had her to the emergency room twice. Finally after a week of this crap, her fever sored to 104.7 degrees and as we were getting ready to go back to the Emergency Room, she passed out on us. It liked to scared me to death. I was screaming and trying to get her up and it took both me and DH to get her into the vehicle and rush to the Emergency Room. She had pneumonia. So needless to say, when she starts running a fever, I start worrying big time!
Ok I feel like I've written a book. Better get off here and go to bed. It's 2:00 a.m. and I have to get up in about 5 hours! Hope you have a great day and don't forget if you haven't already, go over and get my new kit!!!!

{Thrifty Thursday}

We had a good day yesterday. Taylor got out of school early so we took a stroll over to Barnes and Noble. It's one of our favorite places to hang out. Taylor got the new Traveling Pants book and I picked up the new Digital Scrapbook magazine! Woo Hoo!
Then we stopped by to see our friend Ed. He's not doing real good. He's been battling cancer for about 3 years. He's scheduled for another surgery soon to remove more tumors from his bladder. I've known Ed for about 28 years now. It is hard to see him battle this illness.
After visiting with Ed, we stopped by a flea market, where I started sneezing.... ALOT, so it was time to go home and rest. It was a good day out though, a little on the chilly side, but not freezing cold. It's suppose to get up to 70 degrees next week here. I can't wait. It felt good to get out of the house and away from the computer for at least a few hours.
Well it's 2:15 a.m. now. I've got all my advertising finished for my thrifty thursday sale. So now I can head off to bed and get at least a few hours of sleep before I have to get up with Sissy.

{20 Years}

Today, we celebrate 20 years together!

I can't believe that's it's been twenty years since George and I met. Whew, a lot has happened in that time. But, I'd do it all over again. I met my soul mate and we are so excited to be celebrating twenty years together. I think I'll take the weekend off to be with him and our DD.
